Finding Courage / Chasing Mars

Today - we went to a big water park called NRH2O. I was very afraid to go on the rides and only stayed on the edge of the water. Then, I saw the kiddie slides. I loved them! I pushed and pushed my way faster and faster down each slide again and again and again (Lily -- with note from Mommy: I am so proud of Lily for overcoming her fear!); Tonight, I woke up at 4 am because daddy told me that tonight was a special time that we could see Mars really close to Earth. Daddy and I went out and saw the sparkly speck called Mars. Then, I woke up Mommy and told her to come see it because we may not have a chance to see Mars so close for a long time. (Aaron).

Band of Brother

Today, Lily didn't get to go to summer gym camp with me because she had a fever. Mommy had to take her to LaLa's. I ran out into the garage (before I even had a chance to put my pants on) to hug her ... then make sure she would take my favorite coloring book with her there to color. (Aaron)

Fun with the cousins!

We switched parents! Bree went with Aunt Gigi. Lily went with Aunt Kimbetty. I became a beautiful princess at the princess shop and nail salon (Lily). I had fun on a slip and slide with Will and Uncle Beej. (Aaron) Bree and mommy played video games and went to the rock climbing store. It was a great, great day.

Our cousin Bree is a super hero

See how our cousin Bree (aged 7) rock climbs. She goes so far up. We love her so much. Dear Bree: you are the greatest rock climber. I hope you climb all the way up to the top again and ring the bell. (Aaron) I hope you climb all the way to the top of the rock wall and we really love you very much. (Lily)

We saw "March of the Penguins" Movie!

We saw the greatest new movie yesterday. It's called "The March of the Penguins." Did you know that the daddy penguins feed the baby penguins from slime inside their beaks? Did you know that the daddy penguins hold the baby egg between their legs for five months -- while the mommy penguins get the food for the daddy and the baby? (Aaron)
